The land owners involved are committed to " green practises" on the trail, conserving the environment for future generations. ​XXX Baviaans lodge, at the centre of the Baviaans-Kouga travel route is a totally conservation driven Tourism entity, involved in a number of environmental schemes, it utilises volunteer workers to assist in its conservation work. Tree planting, valley forest rehabilitation, alien plant control, bird and game monitoring XXX The Lodge is able to offer self catering, camping and guest house accommodation, rated by guests as being amongst the best in the Baviaanskloof region, and also pheraphs even more attractive and remote than "die Hel " of Gamka Kloof XXX The Lodge offers as part of its conservation awareness program, natural outdoor pursuits to increase the appreciation of our surroundings.
